Emirates Park Zoo is the UAE's largest: over 1,700 animals of 250 species on a big site in Al Bahia, half an hour from central Abu Dhabi. White tigers and lions, giraffes, an elephant, hippos, primates and a large bird collection; several enclosures let you see animals from a few metres with no glass.
✨ What to expect
The highlight is the hands-on programmes included in the Explorer ticket: feeding a giraffe from a platform at head height, a petting zone for small children and daily bird and reptile shows. The grounds are green and shaded with cafes — 2–3 comfortable hours with kids.

The Explorer ticket has the same price for children, under-2s free. The current price is shown on the selected option — one of the most affordable family days in Abu Dhabi. In summer come at opening or after 4pm.
