The Green Planet Dubai

A rainforest under a dome at City Walk: 3,000+ plants and animals on 4 tiers — 124 AED instead of 155.

The Green Planet Dubai — City Walk, Dubai

from139 AED

The Green Planet is a genuine rainforest in the middle of desert Dubai: an enclosed biodome where more than 3,000 plants, birds, reptiles and animals live on four levels around a giant artificial tree. The route starts under the canopy and descends to a flooded "Amazon riverbed" with aquariums; along the way there are sloths, toucans, iguanas, flying foxes and parrots, many of them moving freely among the visitors.

✨ What to expect

This is a compact hour-and-a-half activity in the very centre of the city, in City Walk. It needs neither a transfer nor a whole day — a rare case in Dubai where a sight can be taken in passing. Inside the climate is humid and tropical: after the heat outside the contrast is welcome.

👨‍👩‍👧 Who it suits best

Children aged 3 to 10. The animals are close, and on the upper levels there are no cages or glass: birds and small animals move about beside visitors. Touching is allowed only at official keeper-led encounters — that is the venue's rule and it is about the animals' safety.

🎟 What is included in the ticket

Scheduled animal encounters — feedings and short talks — are already included. Only private encounters, with a sloth for instance, are paid separately and booked on site.

The ticket has an open date: come any day within opening hours.

🗺 What to combine it with

City Walk around it has cafés, murals and walkable streets. The Museum of the Future is ten minutes away — together they make a full day without crossing the city. Note the difference: here you can arrive on any day, while the museum needs a slot with a date and time.
