La Perle by Dragone is the resident aqua show at the Al Habtoor City theatre: 65 performers, aerial and underwater stunts, and a stage that turns into a 2.7-million-litre pool. Ninety minutes without an interval, evening performances.
✨ What to expect
The theatre was built for this show: the stage becomes a pool in seconds, performers drop twenty metres into the water, and the splash reaches the front rows — where they hand out ponchos. It is neither circus nor musical but a hybrid that exists nowhere else in the region.
🎟 Seating categories
Five categories: Silver B, Silver, Gold, Platinum and VIP. The higher the category, the closer to the stage and the better the angle — Silver sees everything, Gold picks up facial expressions, Platinum and VIP get the spray.
👨👩👧 The packages where a child goes free
Almost nobody spots them, and they change the arithmetic for a family. Silver B, Silver and Gold each have a kids go free version: the adult ticket in it costs less than the standard one, and the child goes for nothing. A family with one child should work out the saving from here, not from the base category.
👫 Packages for two
Travelling without children? Look at the Couple packages: the per-person price is lower than the standard one in the same category. They exist in all five categories, VIP included.
👶 Age
Children under two are not admitted — a theatre rule, enforced at the door. The child fare runs from two to twelve; in the Platinum category it starts at three.
🚕 Getting there
Al Habtoor City on Sheikh Zayed Road, between Downtown and Business Bay. Taxi, or metro to Business Bay station and a short walk. Transfer is not included in the ticket.
