The day runs on a traditional wooden dhow: departure from a harbour on Musandam's east coast, a cruise between sheer cliffs, snorkelling stops in the coves, lunch on board and an almost guaranteed encounter with dolphin pods that come to the boat and ride alongside. Important: Musandam is Omani territory, so the trip crosses an international border. A passport is required and visa rules depend on your nationality — check with our manager when booking and we'll verify against your passport in advance. Under the operator's rules, passport holders of Uzbekistan, Kyrgyzstan, Armenia, Tajikistan and Turkmenistan cannot travel to Oman. The original passport is required; alcohol is banned at the border and on board. Early departure, about 2.5–3 hours each way from Dubai, returning in the evening.
