Paying for UAE activities

Choose a payment method before booking. Your display currency and language do not prevent payment in AED.

Paying for UAE activities

Direct AED bank transfer

Choose AED bank transfer, create the booking and use its exact AED amount, beneficiary and IBAN. The beneficiary is ABSEA TOURS DMCC at Emirates NBD. You or a friend can transfer: include the order number as the payment reference. Use the details saved in your order, not a forwarded message.

Yoots charges no surcharge for this transfer. Sending banks, intermediaries and conversion may have fees. Check the amount the beneficiary will receive. Attach a receipt or screenshot afterwards. A manager must verify funds received before confirming payment and preparing tickets. A screenshot alone does not settle the order. Ask in the order chat if delayed; do not transfer twice.

Tourist bank account

As checked on 7 October 2026, ADCB offers an AED Instant Tourist Account with a digital debit card. Applicants must be 18+, hold a valid passport and tourist/visit visa and be in the UAE. Transit and 96-hour visas are excluded. Apply in ADCB Mobile Banking App via New to ADCB → Accounts → Instant Tourist Account.

The monthly fee is AED 25, waived with a minimum AED 2,500 balance. The account is temporary, subject to exit, visa validity and a maximum six months with a seven-day grace period. International transfers require a registered overseas account in your own name. Check funding, fees and local transfers to a company IBAN with the bank before opening; a debit card alone does not guarantee that transfer capability.

Other payment methods

A card payment link and cash options appear where the activity supports them: cash to the guide on the day of a tour, at the partner office in JLT, Dubai, or on board for Alexandra cruises. Check the selected activity's cancellation terms before paying. Tickets follow verified payment and supplier fulfilment; do not assume every option is instantly issued.

Before sending

Check the beneficiary name and IBAN against the saved order. Ask your bank whether it can send AED to that account and whether any charges are deducted from the recipient amount. If a friend sends for you, give them the exact order reference and ask them to share the transfer receipt. The booking stays under your contact details; your friend does not need to create another booking. Never send a second transfer just because a status has not updated immediately.

Checking your booking before payment

The activity option determines what you are buying. Read the included services, guest counts, visit date or open-date validity and any height or age restrictions. A transfer does not add transport, meals or fast entry unless they are part of your selected option. For a combination ticket, read each component's visit rules: two venues may have different date requirements. Keep the accepted booking details alongside the receipt so the manager can match the money to the correct tickets.

The language setting only changes the interface; it does not choose a bank account based on your nationality. A currency selected for browsing only helps compare prices. The accepted payment instructions state the currency and amount to send. If your bank asks for a recipient address or SWIFT/BIC, use the additional details from that same order. Ask the manager if your bank rejects the reference format; do not remove the reference and assume the transfer will be matched automatically.

FAQ

Must I switch the app to English or AED?

No. You can keep your chosen language and display currency. The bank payment itself uses the AED amount in the accepted order. Do not substitute the converted display amount or your own exchange-rate calculation.

Does a screenshot mean payment is confirmed?

No. It shows that a transfer was submitted. A manager checks the actual funds received before approving payment. Keep the receipt and order reference until the booking is complete.

What if the transfer is delayed or short?

Contact the manager in the order chat with the receipt and reference. Ask your bank about its transfer status and fees. Wait for instructions before sending any additional amount; do not duplicate the full payment.

Can I use a tourist card instead?

Where a card-link method is available, check the protected payment page and your bank's limits before authorising. Opening a tourist account is optional and subject to the bank's eligibility checks.

Can I cancel before paying?

An unpaid booking can be cancelled without making a transfer. After payment, refunds and changes depend on the specific activity and ticket conditions shown before checkout. Ask the manager before assuming that a dated ticket is refundable.
